Fuel Line Assemblies
Ray Precicomp supports the development and manufacture of polymer tube assemblies for fuel feed, return and delivery routing between vehicle fuel-system components. Each application calls for a tube construction and assembly approach suited to the specified fuel, operating conditions and vehicle package.

Application Scope
Fuel line assemblies can support different routing functions within a vehicle fuel system. Depending on the programme, the component scope may include:
- Fuel feed and delivery lines
- Fuel return lines
- Formed polymer tube sections routed between fuel-system components
- Tube assemblies with application-specific connectors and retainers
Design and Engineering Considerations
Fuel routing needs to balance packaging, material performance and assembly requirements. During development, the key considerations include:
- Routing geometry, bend transitions and available package space
- Fuel compatibility and permeability requirements
- Tube dimensions and construction defined by the customer
- Connector interfaces, sealing and retention
- Assembly access, installation sequence and service considerations
Material and Tube Construction
Depending on the application specification, mono-layer or multilayer polymer tube constructions may be considered. PA11, PA12 or a barrier-layer construction may be relevant in different applications; the correct choice depends on fuel type, permeability targets, temperature, pressure and durability requirements. Final selection must follow the customer’s specification and approved material data.
From Drawing Review to Production
Ray Precicomp can review customer drawings and application details, discuss routing and component feasibility, support prototype feedback and coordinate the processing and assembly requirements for production development. This component-level support is intended to complement the Tier-1 customer’s system design and validation process.
